Apple has introduced support for eSIM beginning with iOS 15.4.

Samsung
Samsung has introduced support for eSIM across several device classes running Android 13 and OneUI 5.1.

Google Pixel
Google has introduced support for eSIM on Pixel devices starting with Android 13 March 2023 update.

Known Issues:
Pixel 6a and 7a are not recommended for international roamers
Out of bundle calls
Out of bundle calls are any calls other than 01/02/03 and normal 07 mobile prefixes. You will often need to make calls to other services, such as 0845 local rate, international calls or directory enquiry services. You will need to keep a positive balance in your top-up account to cover these calls, but we start you off with £5.00 of free credit – gratis!

NB. If you are in any of the above countries, any calls made to a local number will be debited from your top-up account. Calls made back to the UK are included in your bundle
What happens if I lose my phone and need a new eSIM?
If your phone is lost and the eSIM is still active on that device, a £5 fee applies for issuing a replacement eSIM to install on a new phone.
